SCM Law Welcomes Rachel E. Phillips Back to the Firm

We are pleased to announce that lawyer Rachel E. Phillips has returned to the law firm following her clerkship with Justice John A. Pearce of the Utah Supreme Court.

Rachel’s practice focuses on defending governmental entities. She is an active member of the Firm’s Transportation and Government Entities Practice Groups.

Before joining the firm, Rachel received her J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2017, graduating magna cum laude. She served as an intern for Judge Jill N. Parrish with the U.S. District Court, District of Utah, and for Justice Christine M. Durham of the Utah Supreme Court. Additionally, Rachel spent her first law school summer working as an intern at StevensVuaran, a law firm in Sydney, Australia. Rachel began working as a summer clerk for Snow Christensen & Martineau in the summer of 2015. She will be clerking for Judge David B. Barlow at the U.S. District Court, District of Utah beginning May 2021.
