SCM Paralegals Kymberly May and Marci Cook, Elected Region 1 Director and Director At Large of the Paralegal Division of the Utah State Bar
Salt Lake City, UT — Snow Christensen & Martineau is pleased to announce that Kymberly May, has been elected to the position of Regional Director (Region 1), and Marci Cook has been elected to the position of Director At Large of the Utah State Bar’s Paralegal Division for the 2023—2025 term.
Kym is a litigation Paralegal with Snow Christensen & Martineau in the medical malpractice group, handling all aspects of cases from case inception through trial preparation and participation. Kym has been a paralegal since 1989 and specializes in the areas of estate planning, probate, insurance defense and litigation, and medical malpractice. She has also worked in the areas of criminal and family law.
Kym earned an Associate of Paralegal Studies from Phillips Junior College in 1989.
Marci is a Litigation Paralegal in the medical malpractice group, earning her Associate of Paralegal Studies in 1997. She currently handles all aspects of the firm’s healthcare cases, focusing primarily on medical malpractice, product liability, and wrongful death claims. Marci has been a paralegal with SCM for over 20 years and has worked on various litigation matters, including personal injury, trucking, class-action, and professional liability litigation. Her prior experience includes representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death claims.
The Paralegal Division of the Utah State Bar was created by the Utah Supreme Court in April of 1996. The members of its Board, along with Paralegal Division Members, have been very involved within their local communities, seeking out new opportunities for their members to pull together and make a difference in the lives of others.
