FELONY DEFENSE LAWYERS – DRUG, RAPE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, BATTERY, AND OTHER SERIOUS CRIMINAL CHARGES

Our criminal defense team is tenacious in representing clients charged with felonies and whose freedom is at stake.

We offer a broad range of criminal law experience in defending clients charged with serious felonies, including:

  • Drug charges
  • Violent crime
  • Firearm offenses
  • Sexual Assault
  • Domestic Assault and Battery
  • Fraud

From our Salt Lake City and St. George offices, we are available to serve clients throughout Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Wyoming.

CHALLENGING THE PROSECUTION

Fighting a serious felony charge requires experience and tenacity.  We will not back down from a vigorous challenge or recommend to our clients that they accept the first plea deal that may be offered by the prosecution.

Instead, we fight vigorously on behalf of our clients.  We challenge the theories of a case presented by the prosecution.  In many matters – particularly those involving purported white collar crimes – the alleged wrongdoing may not even constitute a crime.

We also vigorously challenge evidentiary matters, such as the admissibility of specific evidence.  If sufficient admissible evidence does not exist to support a conviction, then the prosecution must dismiss a case.  Dismissal may also be appropriate in cases where the evidence is not sufficiently credible.  Further, through negotiation, the prosecution may realize that the alleged conduct in question does not justify the original charge brought.

There are many possible courses of action that can be taken in the pre-trial stages.  Through tenacious advocacy, we seek to position our clients in the best position possible.   We are also available to fully support our clients through these challenging times, and help bring a sense of peace to their lives, knowing an experienced team is working on their side.

SEEKING A FULL WIN FOR CLIENTS IN COURT

In some cases, the prosecution may offer a plea deal.  At the appropriate time, we provide counsel to our client as to whether a plea offer should be accepted or rejected.  If a dismissal cannot be obtained, and if a plea deal is not accepted, at the direction of our clients we will not hesitate to seek a full win at trial.

THE EXPERIENCED STRATEGY YOU DESERVE

Our attorneys have considerable trial experience (one of whom is a former federal prosecutor, and another of whom is a former federal magistrate judge who presided over criminal cases).  Other attorneys in our group have logged dozens of years working on countless criminal defense matters.
