Shirlene has been practicing law, in both Utah and California, for over 25 years and has cultivated a loyal list of clients who rely heavily on her expertise. Her practice also includes a wide variety of corporate and real estate transactional work, including business entity formations, long-range planning, employment agreements, contracts, real estate transactions, commercial leases, asset purchases and sales, and real estate development and financing.
Prior to practicing law, Shirlene built a successful commercial investment real estate company and has her license in both California and Utah.

Estate Planning; integrating both asset protection and tax reduction. Her practice specializes in Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Limited Partnerships, Charitable Trusts and Foundations, Asset Protection Trusts, and other advanced planning strategies for individuals and couples, including same-sex partner planning.
Business Planning; including analysis of business use and tax consequences of various business structures. Her practice includes business entity formation (corporations, professional corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and other entities), long-term planning and business succession strategies, asset and stock purchase plans, employee incentive plans, employer/employee agreements, contract review, and drafting.
Real Estate Transaction; including purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties, homeowners’ associations, commercial and residential properties, real estate developments, commercial and residential leases, option agreements, and Section 1031 exchanges.
