Family Night in Paradise – Free Concert at the Gallivan Center

In appreciation for the community, and its arts and culture, the law firm, Snow, Christensen & Martineau, and the nonprofit organization, Excellence in the Community Concert Series, present a Family Evening in Paradise, Island Time II. Polynesian music and dance will be the focus of this enchanting presentation on June 25, 2012, starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Island Time II plays songs from a wide variety of musical traditions, but always adds an authentic Polynesian vibe. Combining music and dance, Island Time II brings the spirit of aloha to every performance. The cultural group started in the Gardena-Carson, California area, and has performed throughout the United States and Canada, including the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii, International Market Place, Duke Kahanamoku’s, and Don the Beachcomber’s.

David W. Slaughter, chairman of the Board of Directors of Snow, Christensen & Martineau said: “The concert series at the Gallivan Center is a great opportunity for families to experience and appreciate the remarkably talented artists we have in Utah, and enjoy the beautiful music, dance, and arts from many different cultures around the world.”
