Derek J. Williams is appointed by the Supreme Court to the Utah State Bar’s Diversion Committee.

Derek J. Williams, a shareholder at Snow, Christensen & Martineau, has been appointed, by the Supreme Court of Utah, to a three-year term on the Utah State Bar’s Diversion Committee.  The committee considers certain attorney misconduct referrals from the Utah State Bar’s Office of Professional Conduct and works with both sides toward resolution.  Mr. Williams’ practice of law is focused on most areas of civil litigation, but particularly medical malpractice defense, personal injury defense, and adoption law.  Mr. Williams represents doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers involving regulatory, insurance, and professional liability matters.  He also defends multiple national retailer chains in personal injury cases.
